Why do you call yourself “Indian models”? Is it because only Indian citizens can sign up?
The “Indian” in our name is the suggestion of most of our work being sourced from India and our company being located in India. As regards models, We are open to working with any nationality as long as you have a valid work permit for India. We believe that the world is a global village and we have no preferences with regard to nationality, religion or language.
How do I prepare to become a model?
As in the case of every profession, there are some basic qualifications which you need to fulfill:
Gen. appearance: Body must be fit and free of any deformity. Posture while seated or in motion must be upright, erect and easy. No excess fat. Face must be pleasant, smiling and relaxed. Must be able to show different emotions instantly. Skin can be fair or dark but must not be blemished or scarred. No physical handicap.
Skill: basic acting skills and working knowledge of English are desirable.
Visa and permit: since modeling is an international career it is often found that people from different countries travel to others to look for modeling assignments. Make sure you have the correct visa and permits to work in the country.
Portfolio: find a good photographer and get a portfolio done.
Modeling agency: present your portfolio and enroll in a modeling agency.
As previously stated, the above five are the absolute basic requirements to become a model. These might be sufficient to gain entry into the modeling world.
